The Main Lake

Now all the ice has thawed the water temp is still very low and fishing is hard but with some signs of movement, skimmers and bream are being caught useing pellet feeder with corn and shelfish bollie although worm is as productive as anything.

Dave Clarkson( Flow Star) had a very good day(Thursday 4/3/10)on the main lake peg6, fishing micro pellet feeder with 8mm shelfish bollie about 50meters, he arrived at 7a.m and started fishing at 8a.m, within the first 2 hours he had landed 5 quality bream average 5lb, it went quiet for about an hour but then it was frantic in 9 casts he landed another 9 bream, over the next 3 hours the fish came along regulary with a total of 22 bream and on the last cast a Ghost carp about 14lbs, in total over 120lb.Look out for the full article in next months IMPROVE YOUR COARSE FISHING magazine( Photo's included)

The Canal Lake

Lots of small silvers are feeding in all pegs, mainly close in on top 2&3, pinky and single maggot seem to be the best baits, odd tench showing on corn in the middle.

The Neck

Lots of small silvers coming out on the waggler using single maggot. Some tench now feeding on corn. Some carp showing also on worm and maggot on the pole.
