Waters Edge Country Park
The fishery is liked by a permissive path to North Lincolnshire Councils 86 acres Waters Edge Country Park. The park provides a haven for wildlife, protecting two sites of Special Scientific Interest.

There are pleasant walkways past eight ponds, with picnic areas and bird hides. Admission is free and the site is open daily, with access up to dusk in the summer. Thousands of native trees have been planted to provide food and cover for many of the birds and other wildlife. The large areas of Common Reed are one of the most valuable habitats in the park attracting specialized insects and birds. Continue reading

Fishing Lakes

Carp Lake
Pasture House Fisheries has 2 separate lakes covering 8.4 acres. We operate a day ticket fishery from dawn to dusk, night fishing is by prior arrangement only and is charged at double a day ticket 365 days a year. Prices for day tickets are now £5 for 1 rod and £7 for 2 rods. We are available for club matches and operate some open matches throughout the year.

On the left of the track as you drive down the fishery is the Carp Lake, it is 1.3 acres in size with a maximum depth of 9ft. It has 21 pegs with a footpath linking each peg and has a car park at each end. Continue reading

Holiday Cabins

Accommodation

At Pasture House Fisheries we have self-catering Holiday Timber Cabins which we rent out on a weekly basis. The cabins are located at the south end of the fishery, around a bay overlooking the neck lake which is part of the main lake with a picturesque wooden bridge in the distance.

The timber cabins have been constructed by ourselves to a very high standard.
We are aso in the process of constructing an area for tourers which we hope will be in use for 2004. This area wil have a shower block and electrical hook up points. Continue reading
